As expected, the world’s top-ranked freestyler, Jesse Marlet from the Netherlands, took home the win. He claimed victory in a thrilling final against French competitor Nicox, currently ranked #12 in the world.
Many described the final as intense and high-level, showcasing both athletes at the peak of their game. Nicox landed a mindblowing lower combo :

Nolan Cacheux kindly shared his thoughts with us:
"The qualifications went well, even though I finished 7th. I had some good sets, but I know I could’ve done even better.
The Top 32 round went smoothly, but things got tougher from the Top 16.
I faced Abel, who's ranked Top 32 in the WR. It was definitely a challenge to go up against him that early, especially considering his rapid progress and his 4th place in the qualifiers.
I won that battle with a lot of confidence and very clean sets.
In the Top 8, I battled Simi, who was incredibly strong this time around. It made for a really intense battle. It was actually the second time I faced him — he’s a great freestyler and a good friend. The battle was super tight and went all the way to an extra round, where I took the win.”
“The competition format was a bit confusing for me, since there were only two rounds, while I had prepared for three. That forced me to improvise a bit, and it threw me off my game.
In the semi-final, I felt well-prepared — I had saved my best moves up until that point — but for some reason I can't really explain, I wasn’t at my best. I definitely underperformed, which was frustrating after two really solid battles.
In the third-place battle against Denis, I felt a bit disconnected, but I used the opportunity to try out some new moves. It came down to a few drops and some fatigue. Honestly, I was just a few small details away from grabbing that third place.”

“As for the God Mode format, where five freestylers compete together, I finished third — I got knocked out because of a drop.
I really loved the Spanish vibe; it gave me the chance to reconnect with a lot of people, try out some new combos, and keep progressing.
Overall, I have a pretty positive feeling about the competition. I’m glad I took part and experienced the whole atmosphere — but I also know I’m capable of doing better.”
